Steven Long
My name is Steven, and I am a sophomore at Monta Vista High School. I have experience in a variety of programming languages like Java, C++, and HTML; however, I mainly like to use Java. I participate in the FIRST Robotics Competition at school and play the bassoon. I am also currently teaching underprivileged students and I have adequate teaching experience.
Joey He
My name is Joey He and I am a very hard working, empathetic, persevering student at Homestead High School. I've been playing the piano for the past 10 years, passing CM 10 in 9th grade, and have been using my talents as a volunteer in a senior residence ever since. I am very interested in courses surrounding Computer Science as I love coding. Last year, I self studied for the AP Computer Science exam because I did not get the class, and received a five. Over the summer, I took an advanced Java class and a python class at Mission while teaching myself how to program in html and Javascript. In my free time, I enjoy playing badminton and working on extracurricular coding projects.
